15 May 07 VIRGIN NIGERIA INTRODUCES DISCOUNTED FARES ON DOMESTIC ROUTES
Lagos, Nigeria: 15 May 2007: Virgin Nigeria has announced special discounted economy class fares on domestic routes for senior citizens, civil servants and students. The special fares which became effective on 1 May 2007 will last for the month of May and apply to all the domestic routes currently serviced by Virgin Nigeria.
The special discounted economy fares on the domestic routes come on the heels of the Buy One Business Class Ticket and Get One Free offer on the Lagos – London Gatwick route.
Announcing the special fares in Lagos, the Chief Operating Officer - Dr. Yemi Osindero said:
"Virgin Nigeria, as the nation's flag bearer, is constantly striving to find ways to improve the lives of Nigerians and indeed all our customers. These fares are in response to the yearnings of Students and Youth Corpers and in recognition of our Daddy's and Mummy's whom we all owe so much. Not to be left out, we also included the civil servants working in the service of our nation. Our passion is for our customers and with their support we will keep on touching the right spots".
To benefit from these special fares simply present valid means of identification such as school ID for students, NYSC I.D. Card for Youth Corpers, drivers licence or national ID for senior citizens.
Virgin Nigeria remains at the forefront of innovative and competitive pricing offers.
