VIRGIN NIGERIA AND GOLDEN TULIP PARTNER TO GIVE THEIR CUSTOMERS EVEN MORE REWARDS

Lagos, Nigeria: 05 September, 2007: Virgin Nigeria’s eagleflier®, the loyalty Programme for frequent flyers has partnered with Golden Tulip Hotels, a member of Golden Tulip Franchise BV in order to further reward its members.

With the formal commencement of the partnership between Golden Tulip’s connection Programme and Virgin Nigeria’s eagleflier, customers of the airline have the opportunity to earn miles at Golden Tulip Hotels, Tulip Inn & Resorts located in different parts of the world and spend them as they deem fit.

Speaking during the formal signing of the partnership in Lagos, the Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Yemi Osindero said: “As a world class airline of international standards, Virgin Nigeria places premium on a global reach for its customers to earn and spend miles and a partnership with Golden Tulip will be of immense value to our eagleflier members whenever they travel because the hospitality group has a reach that spreads over different countries and destinations”

“We also assure our customers that we are not resting on our laurels as more partnerships are being planned and will be announced at a later date. All this is in addition to the double benefit eagleflier members have of spending miles, they have acquired, on domestic or international routes currently serviced by Virgin Nigeria” he further stated.

While welcoming Virgin Nigeria’s partnership with the Golden Tulip Group, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Tulip Hospitality, Mr. Hans Kennedie said they were certain the partnership will accord eagleflier members the opportunity to benefit from the multi-brand hospitality offered by the Golden Tulip Hospitality Group.

eagleflier, which is the registered trademark of Virgin Nigeria for her frequent flyer Programme, was launched on the 30th of November, 06 and has received tremendous patronage from Nigerian and International travellers.
