VIRGIN NIGERIA REWARDS CUSTOMERS
Lagos Nigeria, 7th November 2008: Virgin Nigeria, in its usual tradition of rewarding loyalty with its customers, has announced an exciting sales promotion for the month of November on its domestic routes. In the three-pronged promotion offer, customers flying the Lagos to Port-Harcourt route or Port-Harcourt to Lagos will be offered a discount that will afford them a return trip for 32, 000 naira, and a double air miles reward.
Passengers who fly Virgin Nigeria from Lagos to PHC (or vice versa) on all other fairs during this period will also get double miles.
In addition to this, the company is poised to change the life of one lucky customer. From the 1st of November to the 30th of November, all passengers who fly Virgin Nigeria Airways stand a chance to win a brand new Hyundai jeep. To be eligible, customers simply have to register their flights and join eagleflier, Virgin Nigeria’s frequent flyer programme.
Speaking on the marketing promotion, the Head of Corporate Communications, Nkiru Olumide-Ojo, remarked. “We are constantly looking for ways to reward our customers, be they on the domestic or on the international routes; and this exciting new promotion on our domestic routes is just one of the many steps taken by Virgin Nigeria to elevate the Nigerian flight experience.”
It will be recalled that in addition to launching routes to Abidjan and Monrovia, Virgin Nigeria introduced the Embraer Jet, with personalised in-flight entertainment for the first time on the domestic and regional routes. This is in addition to its new Business Class lounge at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport.

This product allows passengers traveling on the domestic service carrying cabin hand luggage which is over 6kg to hand these over to the attendants at the foot of the aircraft. These bags are specially tagged and collected by the passengers on arrival at the tarmac.
Virgin Nigeria just recently took delivery of its Embraer 190 aircraft that is equipped with individual In-Flight Entertainment system as part of its total fleet renewal. It will be recalled that Virgin Nigeria last year announced an order for 24 Embraer aircraft consisting of E170s and E190s jets.
